About Us
The Apostolic Church of St. Thomas Christians traces its beginnings to the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle in Kerala in A.D. 52. Over centuries, it developed through links with the East Syrian tradition and later grew into an autonomous Metropolitan See.
- Rooted in early Christian traditions shaped by East Syrian ecclesial influence.
- Maintained a historic hierarchical connection with the Patriarchate of Seleucia-Ctesiphon.
- Evolved into a distinct, self-governing Metropolitan Church within the wider Christian communion.
